Welcome to the new-and-improved iOGaming.net website! While much of the site will remain the same, you’ll notice that some of our blog features have changed, along with some notable additions. For instance, my avatar to the right of the blog post now displays a delicious image of waffles, or that the comment box and the comments following are displayed more graphically. These are just a few of the visual differences you’ll notice, including the very sexy-looking header!
Using Wordpress will enable us to do much more with the blog than ever before, so that you, our valued readers, will enjoy a more interactive and fluid experience. With your same iOGaming.net forum login, you can still post comments to the blog like before, but did you know that you can now post a reply directly under someone’s comment, so they’ll know that it’s their face that you’re dogging! We also will have the ability to extend the Fun-Effin’-Nuggets factor by implementing new Wordpress plugins, and with the seemingly-endless amount available, we can do almost anything!
Remember, the site is still technically in beta, so there will be bugs crawling around here, some being styling-related, others associated with the backend. In the very near future, though, we will have a method for you to send us bugs in a manner that we can track them, so keep your eyes and ears open for that.
Thanks for reading, from your friendly staff at iO Gaming!

Cool beans, nice to see this live!! Great job to everyone who was involved
Zoe says: I just love iO gaming.
Francis says: Yeah, I guess iO is okay.
Does that mean each member will have their own Blog or sort of place like that? That would be just what I need too. But if not, I think it’s a pretty good idea for the future. Integrated into the iO Zone that each member has or something along those lines. Awesome community site, keep it up.
It’s planned for the future, but not anytime soon.
I see. Would be a good idea. Thanks for clue-ing me in Mr. Waffles sir,
Actual blogging will start in about a week or so, while we gather our resources and bloggers.
Lookin’ good. Definate upgrade.
tl;dr new words be sexy, yo.
Very AwsomeSauce
Awesomesauce.
Why Wordpress and not Drupal? Drupal the ability to have a blog and forums all rolled into one without the need for rolling your own connectors.
Because we’re very happy with vBulletin, and Wordpress was made for blogging. We wanted each piece of software to be dedicated to it’s specific function. We could have easily used Joomla, too, but again, it wouldn’t have done any one thing well?
Also, Wordpress has a more user-friendly backend for our many authors and editors.
I hate both of you
i hate yyou dave
Haha, I hate me too, man. I hate me too.
