    Uninstalled HoN

Taking a few weeks break from the game. It's too fucking batshit insane.

I love the game, I hate the community.

Not enough of you iO guys are online anymore (by "online", I mean in Vent), which makes it pretty fucking irritating because we never go as a group of 3, 4, or 5 and play together anymore. What's the point in the clan, then?

The community in HoN blows ass, beyond belief.

I'll reinstall the game on July 29th. Until then, bleh.

heh, yea I hear you there man. I've been blowin' off my hon-generated steam in BFBC2 lately. I won't be uninstalling or anything but I definitely don't feel like playing much these days :x

Lol same here too. I've just been practicing my "hot girl backstabbing" skills in TF2 for lawls. (not lawlstep... really for lawls). I gotta say it's pretty fun and it's nice being able to leave a game whenever I want rather than setting out an hour 10 minutes just to play a game.

I think that's one of the most irritating parts of the game for me. Spending so much time on a game is almost worthless if you can't trust the other four people (or two, at the very least) to be competent-enough to lose with dignity.

A 2-and-10 Fayde is unforgivable. I wanted to hunt down the person controlling that character and slap the shit out of them for even entertaining the idea of joining a 1600+ SD game.

A Deadwood that literally does nothing but farm for 40-minutes is unforgivable. Someone should have an entire one-hour award show on network television named after them, then receive the very first award, for making that DW die a slow and painful death. IRL. The other team were scrubs, FFS. We knew this before hand. It was an easy game, but noooo, DW farmed more than Arachna and Slither combined. And still ended up with shit.

TF2, I miss the cartooniness, the spontaneity, but most of all, the community. It's just an all-around light-hearted environment. Sure, there's a few good apples in HoN. But the majority of them are just Apple products, not products of apples.

    Re: Uninstalled HoN

I would like to say that I am on vent almost 24-7 when I play hon and I am always open to playing games with any of you. I work nights so I am usually on in the morning and in the late evening before I go to work. I will agree with the frustration that playing games with 1600 ratings and not knowing how to use hero's appropriately is very unforgivable. At the stage of the game you should be refining your play style and your team coordination with others at least that's my logical stand point in the thinking of the rating system. I know we all live separate lives and some of us exist in different time zones, but I think the most important thing to remember here is that we posted a long time ago that vent is a requirement not a suggestion when playing games of hon. Those who don't have it should be asked to install it and or therefore helped if they don't understand how to do it. A gentle nudge can do a lot as opposed to getting upset yourself and uninstalling the game to take a break. This is just a suggestion you do what you want I support you either way as a fellow gamer and I hope to see you return soon.

Every video game has its up and downs imo. I've been trying to just not overload myself with HoN. I'll play a game and win then just take a break, let that feeling of leetness sink in while I snipe people in BFBC2 or TF2 for a while. It really does great things when you go back on later and play another game feeling epic.

I've been playing HoN here and there, nothing like I used to. Lack of a decent mic is very irritating. Still doin' my HoN 'work-out' 20 pushups and situps everytime I die - kinda helps me in the solo-minded aspect of the game.

I used to do it. I think it helps curve the frustration of HoN.

I've got space too, but I uninstall them so I'm not tempted to go back until the date that I promise (I did this same thing with TF2 earlier this year). On my crappy ISP, it'd be hard to just re-download and re-install on a whim.

We're 22nd in standings. And WTF is our 7th game at? How are some teams done with 7 games, but others only have 6?
