    All-in-One iO LAN Information

Ok guys I know the information is spread out over several threads so I have decided to combine everything into one thread for your convenience. We are getting closer to the date and we are going to need commitments so I can make arrangements for food, for the lan itself and hotel stuff. I will be putting up a sign up form for those that are committed ASAP. So look for that.

    Here is the information:

    Where: NERV LAN Center (N E R V c e n t e r) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. 3235 Hamilton BLVD, Allentown, PA.

When: Friday July 30th starting at 6 PM-2:30 AM EST and Saturday July 31st starting at 11 AM to 2:30 AM EST. That's a LOT of gaming!!!

What: It will be both BRING YOUR OWN PC and they will also have several machines there for our use. I will update with exact details of how many will be available for those who do not want to travel with their machines. We will be hosting a number of tournaments and giveaways. This will be updated as we get closer to the date.

Where to stay: We have booked a block of rooms at the Howard Johnson DIRECTLY across the street from the LAN center. Completely within walking distance. The rates are 109$/night split between however many people stay in the room. Currently as of this thread we had 3 ROOMS LEFT.

Here is Courtney's post about the hotel:
Hey everyone... so the hotel rooms are reserved at the Howard Johnson. Everyone is responsible for booking their own room. Call the Howard Johnson at (610)-439-4000. Let them know you want to book a room in the iOGaming block. Just in case you did not see the other hotel information thread, The information for the Howard Johnson is as follows:
-We have 5 standard rooms and 5 suites
-The standard rooms have 2 double beds
    - The suites have 2 double beds and a futon
-Included is continental breakfast, free wireless, and an indoor pool/jacuzzi that opens at 7am and closes at 11pm
-The Howard Johnson is a 2 minute walk from the NERV Center

There are a few things you should know.

    1. If we do not have 10 rooms completely reserved by June 30th we
    a. lose the group rate
    b. lose the rooms that were not reserved
so make sure you book your room ASAP
    2. Each room will be required to give one credit card number to reserve the room, and this will be the card that is charged at the end of your stay.
    3. ALL OF THE ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING
    4. The sooner you call, the better chance you have of getting the room that you want. Keep in mind there are groups of 4 that will be staying in the hotel, so if you are alone or sharing with only one other person please take a regular room rather than a suite
5.You have 48 hours prior to the event to cancel your room
Cost of the LAN itself (not including hotel fees): We are currently looking at $65 per person for the times listed above. This will include paypal fees, lunch on Saturday, and the cost of getting in itself. I will update this price if it changes.

I will update this with more information when possible if I left anything out. Thanks guys. I'm completely psyched and look forward to meeting everyone. It's going to be an amazing time!!

    Re: All-in-One iO LAN Information

Nicky, could you setup a list of who's confirmed for going? Or maybe a meetup.com/evite list?

EDIT: Also, why is there so much damn white space under my signature? Because of all the crap on the left? :P

Keep in mind we have to fill 10 rooms or the discounted rate doesn't apply.

What are we looking at for non-discounted rates?

I'll have to see if the Ohio people want to split up into two rooms instead of one, which would leave two rooms left.

    Re: All-in-One iO LAN Information

I'd like to bring 1 or 2 people that aren't in iO . I vouch for both of them 100% that they're great people and would be nothing but a positive addition to the event . [waffles , im talking about ahk and malatov]

Also pentium you might want to speak with CrushU , hes interested in going and mentioned he is looking for someone to room with .

I can personally vouch for these two people as well. They would definitely fit in with this event's atmosphere.
