LAN meeting notes

Okay everyone so here is a summary of the metting that was held tonight

• Check in for the hotel is friday at 3 PM, Check out 11 AM Sunday
• Lan center Hours
  
  • "open" at 5PM on Friday, We are trying to get in a bit earlier if possible. Stay Tuned
  • Saturday, 11AM/12AM Untill 2:30/3 AM
  
  
• BC2 not on the in house machines
  
  • HON players burn a copy and bring it, well throw it on the machine that way
  
  
• The LAN center is supposed to have T1 connections
• Nicky will pickup some soda/chips/water and Shit like that on friday before the LAN
• We will be Placing the order for pizza on saturday for 3PM ish
• Sadly there will not be any monster girls but a lot of monster.
• If anyone has any problems with rides near the lan center, or gets in early and wants to hang out contact Twizzy
• If Anyone close to the LAN center could bring a cooler, it would help a bunch
• We are working on the prize structure and tourney layout.
  
  • On friday no tourneys but we will be doing some small giveaways, mostly chilling out a bit
  • On Saturday we will be most likely setting up teams based on people you are sitting next to, all the while trying to keep the teams even
    
    • Basic outline:
      
      • TF2: 6v6, cevo rule set - 1v1 tourney as well
      • L4D2: Vs as well as scavange
      • BC2: we will try for a tourney, squad rush or a deathmatch tournament( probably kill based )
      • CSS: If enough people have it we could do that
      
      
    
    
  
  
• Bring a LOOSE attitude says Nicky
• Panda is bringing nametags"Hi my name is:" for everyone
• Not sure yet how much table space we each have. Check out the pics on the LAN center website for an idea
• We are able to leave our PC's there overnight
• For ther older crowd, Probably going to go out on saturday night, lets try to keep it "under control" , ie: PLEASE DONT DIE
• "No" booze at the lan center
• No smoking at the LAN center
• Double check the What to bring thread
• Bring ALL of your computer stuff, cables... etc, if you can bring an extra thing or 2 just in case please do
• Make sure you have all of your games installed, even if you dont think we will be playing it
• Last but not least, Bigg is the iO Punching bag, and he has sworn that he will be wearing his zebra striped man thong

I wish I could make it to the lan party unfortunately I've got to work and i dont have the travel money at the moment but hopefully this is a reoccurring thing so that mcchicken, silentkills and I can make it next time, because it sounds like a great time, im new to the io gaming so it would be great to meet everyone
