Caspian Border Jets

Hello my name is Dramaslims. I've been trying to get this issue resolved and it's got me very frustrated. I enjoy the Caspian Border server very much but I cannot seem to get off the ground with a jet. Every time I spawn into one I get blown up by another one. It's very rare I can get off the ground without this automatic kill happening to me. Can someone please help? I already have talked to several admins and they said they cannot help me.

No, its greiferkiller. Dude can go 50-0 every round in a jet without an issue. He knows when the jets are spawning and simply blows them up when they do. Trust me I have played round after round with griefer killer and I just have to chose not to fly. Besides hes impossible pretty much to shoot down so even if you do take off you'll be dead in less than a min.

This guy has 29,000 yes 29,000 kills in jets and a total of 606 yes 606 total jet hours.

grief was Nihilistic1 in BC2 i remmber the name but not why. so youre getting kilt by another jet? try getting some pratice in when its not full. clear the binds to jet youre not using

Stingers have no range anymore, and Nihl was a d-bag uncap killer in BFBC2.

Yep. After he talked to Josh, he talked to me. Went and double checked on griefkiller' stats. His jet kills is 10x more than his rifle kills (lol), there was nothing I could do.

How about not allowing kills or resource destruction in uncaps? It's not like jets spawn anywhere else, like tanks/jeeps do.

We have had servers going since day 1. Uncap killing is not like it was in BC2. You have plenty of defenses to take out any one killing your stuff. Besides shooting jets as they take off isnt bad. Its when they steal your jets and your chopper and then they have all the air resources that suck. Too this isn't 1 man deathmatch. The game requires you to play as a team. If they are bothering your uncap get in the mobile aa and stationary aa and kill them. Most people are just to lazy to do that.

How is the range on soflam's and javs now? That might work if the range hasnt been nerfed

Remembering back to BC2 maps like Atacama and Heavy Metal, Caspian has the same defenses as those maps did in uncap, an AA emplacement and some tanks/jeeps. While BF3 does have stingers and javelin missiles, EA has made it nearly impossible to use them effectively. To use a stinger, you have to be impossibly close to the target and javelins laser lock can be defeated by flares and the jets speed.

Also, hitting a low flying jet (that's streaking by) with enough bullets to from the AA emplacement to take down a jet is no small task. My feeling has always been, both in BC2 and in BF3, is that uncaps should be untouchable.

AA is useless against jets now. It makes it totally worthless.

dont play with greiferkiller. he killed me on Operation Firestorm in the first 5 seconds (literally) while I was hopping onto the transport heli. I just leave the game he joins

The whole issue here is base rape. It shouldn't be allowed. I've played on servers where it's not allowed. It's not hard to enforce it. The way I see it, if the vehicle is in the air ABOVE it's base it's fair game, but blowing the things up while their on the ground defenseless is BS IMHO. But like I said, that's MY opinion. If you feel the need to blow shit up in the enemy base to stroke your epeen then good for you. It's a total dick move, and something I don't do.

Honestly I can believe this thread is still going. The fact of the matter is. Base rape doesn't happen all that often. Most people are competent enough to stop base rape from happening. Also most people that play BF know its a dick move and don't do it. That's why there's no need for a rule.
