    Premium-Exclusive Close Quarters Guide

Some of you know about it, some of you forgot.
battlefield premium members are getting the Prima Games guide of CQC for free.

most of the stuff if not all of them you already know. Its like they put a noobie guide for BF3 and renamed it under CQC.
Though the good part about this guide is the you have a detailed view of the CQ maps with explanations about some points and places in these maps.

    As described on the page:
The first of the Premium-exclusive strategy guides is dropping today. This Prima Games guide will give insider information about the new maps, weapons, Assignments, and games modes featured in Close Quarters. So, whether you’re going for first place in Gun Master, hopping from flag to flag in Conquest Domination, or trying to unlock the new Close Quarters Assignment weapons, you’ll have a leg up on the competition. Everything from how to get that elusive EOD bot kill to unlock the MTAR-21, to the best places to defend against a frenetic. Conquest Domination onslaught is included.
    you can get it here:
    Premium - Battlelog / Battlefield 3

you will need to be logged in to battlelog.

To me it's just another gimmick, but it might be useful for someone else.

Why doesn't someone just save it and post it on iO forums so the iO members who don't have premium can read it?

Well i just re-read the guide... there is no copyrights for it, so it isnt piracy, it just states that you cannot copy their EA or DICE logo's...

    Re: Premium-Exclusive Close Quarters Guide

if it cost money or you get it with subscription, then you take it and reproduce it free for all - n the US it considers piracy.
And because the servers, the forums and the site are hosted in the US. We obligated to follow these rules

    Re: Premium-Exclusive Close Quarters Guide

    Simon,

I understand you're like 15. So allow me to enlighten you on this topic. Here in the US piracy and copyright enfringement is taken a little more serious than it does in perhaps Australia. Whether or not it's "allowed" in the your country is a moot point. As IsraCid3R said: "And because the servers, the forums and the site are hosted in the US. We obligated to follow these rules" As an Admin you need to know and understand this.

Everything has some sort of copyright. Just because you went on bittorrent and got an item doesn't make it free.

And yes the PRIMA Guide has a copyright and Terms of Service and Conditions of Use.

    Copyright and Ownership

The Prima Games Site is owned and operated by Prima Games and its affiliates and vendors. All of the content featured, displayed or offered for sale on the Prima Games Site, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, photographs, images, moving images, sound, illustrations, software and eGuides ("Content"), is owned by Prima Games, its licensors, vendors and/or its content providers. All elements of the Prima Games Site, including, but not limited to, the general design and the Content, are protected by trade dress, copyright, moral rights, trademark and other laws relating to intellectual property rights. The Prima Games Site may only be used for the intended purpose for which such web site is being made available. Except as may be otherwise indicated in specific documents within the Prima Games Site, you are authorized to view, play, print and download documents, audio and video found on our web site for personal, informational, and noncommercial purposes only. You may not modify any of the materials and you may not copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information or work contained on the Prima Games Site. Except as authorized under the copyright laws, you are responsible for obtaining permission before reusing any copyrighted material that is available on the Prima Games Site. For purposes of these terms, the use of any such material on any other web site or networked computer environment is prohibited. You shall comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of the Prima Games Site. The Prima Games Site, its Content and all related rights shall remain the exclusive property of Prima and its licensors unless otherwise expressly agreed. You will not remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices from material found on the Prima Games Site.

    Purchase of eGuides

Please note that Prima Games’ eGuides currently can only be accessed on the computer that they were purchased on and are not accessible from or transferable to other computers or devices, and are not intended to be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for any other manner. eGuides shall not be sold, transferred, leased, modified, distributed or publicly performed; the end user has no right to create any derivative works therefrom. All elements of Prima Games’ eGuides including without limitation, the general design, layout, text and content, are protected by copyright, moral rights, trademark and other laws relating to intellectual property rights. You agree that all sales of eGuides are final. No refunds will be given, except in our sole and absolute discretion. Access to all eGuides is forfeited if your account is terminated or suspended for your violation of these Terms of Service and Conditions of Use or any other misconduct, as determined by Prima in Prima's sole and absolute discretion, or if Prima discontinues providing the Prima Games Site.
