    chatiO virus?

I downloaded chatiO and my anti-virus (Norton) said it was a virus and removed it. Why did it do this?

Because of Norton.... Norton is overprotective on programs developed and coded with .NET or VB. You should be able to set an a temporary exclusion within Norton to allow for exe to run.

Hope to see you in chat!

Norton is crap. Also, we wouldn't do something like that to you.

Okay... now all of a sudden the program wont work. The file I used to have got accidentally deleted. When I run the setup.exe, it says Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor. Is there any way I can fix this?

The reason behind this is because chatIO has access to your network, Norton detects it as a virus. Don't worry it is safe. If you want to install chatIO then turn off Norton, download and install chatIO turn Norton back on and done!
