Ive got an animation that plays on command, but when i added another one (a simple alpha translation), all of my animations sped up - my best guess is i was running low on memory (ive got a cheap phone)

I've since replaced the second animation with a timer thread Runnable that does the same thing, but I can't seem to figure out why that issue was happening. It was a very strange experience. Id really rather not animate things manually any more than that - its a major pain in the ass

anyone here have any problems like that? (Android SDk build targets 5 - 4.1, built against 4.1 i think, ran on i think 8(cyanogenmod))
