    Re: PC on/no display

Just a thought, I notice in red on the gigabyte page that it says "Note: To enable AMD FM2+ APU support, please update your motherboard with latest version of specific BIOS and driver in Motherboard's Download section once available." its in red on the page, i didnt type it like that to be an a-hole. Alsowith the above and it not posting seems to me that the bios does not recognize the cpu/apu.

If you need more help, Im hardly ever hear anymore but I would be happy to help you via email. There is a link in the profile section to send an email to me. I just don't want to post it for robots to collect and autospam the crap out of me.

    Re: PC on/no display

    Thanks.

I had the same thought, but then saw Gigabyte at Newegg say in February that they were shipping boards that were Kaveri capable out of the box. Also there seems to be a real spate of video issues with FM2+ mini-ITX motherboards that are solved simply by replacing the motherboard, not by BIOS flashing. I'm not completely ruling it out of course. Hopefully the MSI motherboard, being released post-Kaveri, will be BIOS compatible out of the box.
