    How do you use soundboards?

    Hi,

Can someone tell me how to use soundboards with tf2? I don't know much about this. I don't want to be annoying like play music for 2 minutes straight... just the occasional 5 second wav file... Do people just use soundboards that you can find online or do they have their own?

And how do you set up the audio properly? Is it with a physical cable going from the sound out of the soundcard to the mic in? Or is it done in control panel somewhere?

    Thanks for your help
